GEOPOLITICa – A Biannual Multilanguage Scientific Journal for the Advancement of Geopolitical Studies
GEOPOLITICA invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to contribute to our upcoming issues. As a rigorous peer-reviewed scientific journal, GEOPOLITICA is dedicated to fostering scholarly discourse and advancing research in the field of geopolitics and its related matter. GEOPOLITICA seeks to bridge theoretical frameworks with practical survey models, enriching academic and policy-making communities alike.
The journal is committed to exploring the dynamic and complex nature of geopolitical interactions across various scales—from local to global. We encourage submissions that delve into the theoretical underpinnings of geopolitics, as well as empirical research that tests, extends, or builds new interpretative models. Our aim is to serve as a platform for innovative ideas and findings that contribute to a deeper understanding of global political, social, and economic landscapes.
GEOPOLITICA welcomes papers that:
Analyze the impact of geopolitical strategies on international relations and national policies.
Examine the role of geography on political outcomes, conflict, and cooperation.
Explore the influence of economic, cultural, and technological factors in shaping geopolitical landscapes.
Propose or critique methodologies for studying geopolitical phenomena, including comparative studies, case studies, and simulation models.
Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original research articles, review articles, case studies, and theoretical inquiries that meet the scientific standards of the journal. Submissions should be well-grounded in the relevant literature and clearly articulate the contribution to the field of geopolitics.
Manuscripts should adhere to the following format:
Abstract: No more than 250 words, summarizing the research question, methodology, results, and significance of the study. Three keywords
Introduction: A comprehensive review of the background and the study’s objectives.
Methodology: Detailed description of the research design, data sources, and analytical techniques.
Results: Clear presentation of the findings, supported by appropriate statistical analysis and visual aids.
Discussion: Interpretation of the results, implications for theory and practice, and potential limitations.
Conclusion: Summary of the findings and their broader impact on the field of geopolitics.
Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review conducted by an international panel of experts in the field to ensure accuracy, novelty, and relevance.
The review process typically takes between two to three months, after which authors will be notified of the decision (acceptance, revisions, or rejection).
